It's completely free to become a member of WhirlPark.ca. If you find a parking spot you would like to buy we charge you a 5% booking fee on top of the parking price. That's it!

At WhirlPark.ca you can find many types of parking. You can find hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and even annual parking!

You can find parking by using our advanced search which you can access on the top blue bar. Just start typing the location and WhirlPark.ca will show a list of selections. If you don't want to use the search bar you can also find the parking by choosing from the Popular Locations on the front page.

Finding parking near special locations
If you're looking for parking near a special location you can also search for parking spots near the location. Just start typing the location in the search bar on the top of each page.

Example: Your looking for parking for the next Hockey game at General Motors place.
By using the search bar on the top you start typing: General Motors Place. The search bar will show General Motors Place in Vancouver. You select that location and click search. On the next page WhirlPark.ca will show parking spots within 3 km of this location.

Each parking spot has several types of information available making it easier for you to find your ideal parking.

You will find information like:

• Map showing its location.
• Locations close to the parking.
• Address, operating hours & description.
• Detailed pricing.
• Features.
• Availability. You can find this by clicking the Buy button .

You can purchase parking with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and INTERAC.

Yes it is very safe. Your privacy and security is important to us. Your credit card information is protected by a 128bit SSL encryption and is processed by BeanStream. For your safety we DO NOT save any credit card information.

Once your payment has gone through you will receive a receipt and a parking permit. Print the parking permit and bring it to the parking spot. You will either have to show it to the owner or just put it in your dashboard.

How much you can make depends on where your parking spots are located, what features they include and how many parking spots you have available to sell, but here's a few examples of typical earnings:

Own a single parking spot in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary or any other major city
If you sell it for $100 per month which in most cities is the going rate and rent it out fully booked for the full year you will make $1020 per year.

Own a parking lot with 10 parking spots in a major city
If you are 80% booked for the full year and sell on a monthly basis for a price of $100 this will make you $8160 per year. To get closer to 100% booked you can add hourly and event parking which will increase your yearly income even more.

Posting parking spots for sale is completely free. You only pay once you actually sell your parking. Put it another way: we only make money when you make money!

When you sell your parking we charge you 15% of the parking price. This amount is taken from the money you've made selling parking so you do not need to give us any credit card info. On your first sale we also charge a $20 administration sales fee on top of the 15% commission fee. The rest is transferred to your PayPal account at the end of each month.

You will get paid via PayPal which is the leading provider of online transfers of funds. Getting a PayPal account is completely free. You can connect your PayPal account with your checking account and easily and safely transfer the money to and from both accounts.

You can sell hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual parking.

You will get an email immediately once one of your parking spots has been sold.

Through your control panel in WhirlPark.ca you have full control of your parking spots which means you can set and change the price as you see fit.

We recommend checking with your provincial government for accurate information, but most provinces would consider this as income and you should therefore report this income as taxable income.
